Is my clinic allowed to continue its own local charitable efforts?

A.

Yes. In fact, we encourage you to continue charitable efforts in our communities, such as walks, sponsorships, community days. We only ask that you consider how your local efforts can be enhanced by partnering with one or more of the Pillars with Purpose funds.

How do I contribute to a fund?

A.

Please visit our donation page to find more information about the funds and submit your contribution. You can also mail your check, made payable to “TFEC” noting in the memo line your “Pillars With Purpose” fund of choice, to TFEC at 200 N. 3rd Street, 8th Floor, PO Box 678, Harrisburg, PA 17108, ATTN: Jennifer Doyle.

Do I have to contribute to Pillars with Purpose?

A.

No. You may choose to contribute to the Pillars with Purpose Charitable Funds or not without fear of reprisal.

Is my contribution tax deductible?

A.

Yes. All contributions to the Pillars With Purpose Charitable Funds are tax deductible and paperwork will be mailed out to you from TFEC.

Will I get a receipt? When?

A.

Yes. You will receive a receipt of your contributions and notification of your donation within 5-7 days of TFEC receiving your gift.

Is my contribution anonymous?

A.

As a donor, you may choose to remain anonymous within our company. But in order to maintain records required by the Internal Revenue Service and to send you a receipt and tax paperwork, The Foundation for Enhancing Communities must retain some personal information. Should you wish for your donation to remain anonymous, please contact Robbe Bendick at RBendick@urpt.com.

How do I apply to be on an advisory committee?

A.

All Upstream/Drayer employees are invited to apply to sit on an advisory committee. All applicants will be notified by the executive director upon receipt of their applications an of decisions made by the executive committee pertaining to their applications. Please contact Robbe Bendick at RBendick@urpt.com to request an advisory committee application.

How will I know if my contributions made a difference?

A.

You will receive regular communications from the philanthropy team and advisory committees, updating you as to what gifts have been made from the funds and what impact they have had on recipients.
